Welcome to the Greatest Show on Earth! KCLSU Students' Union and Original Sin are pleased to present The Masked Ball 2017, Kings' College London Official Freshers' Ball.
For one night only, on Monday 2nd October 2017, the iconic KOKO Camden will be transformed into a captivating show to rival the greatest ball in the land. As always, expect anything from outrageous performers and face painters to the best DJs in London and the famous Masked Ball photo booth.
For one night only, you will be transported back in time to our famous masquerade ball in the most prestigious of London venues. Our aim is to provide students at KCL an unparalleled ball to celebrate the end of the freshers period in style. This is the largest and only formal event in the KCL Freshers calendar. Now in it's 5th consecutive sell out year, you'd be absolutely mad to miss this. Join all the rest of your peers on the 2nd of October for a night of sheer tomfoolery.
Be prepared for the extraordinary… this tailor made evening exquisitely merges the delights of a formal ball with the true London University experience to give you the only excuse to adorn your favourite frock or dickie bow tie and mask!

Is this a KCL Students' Union Event?
Yes, this event is The Kings' College London Freshers' Ball run by the KCL Students' Union and curated by Original Sin.
Who are The Original Sin?
Original Sin are specialists in University Balls and large scale student events.
Where is this Ball?
The Freshers' Ball 2017 will be held in the iconic Koko Camden. Here’s the address: 1a Camden High St, London NW1 7JE
What do I need to get in?
All you need to gain entry to the event will be Photographic ID and your event wristband or E-Print (this can be shown on a smart phone or via print out).
What time does it start/finish?
The Masked Ball opens at 9:30pm. Last entry into KOKO will be 11pm and tickets will not be valid after this time. The curtains close at 2.30am.
Can guests and non-KCL students attend the event?
Yes, as long as they are accompanied by a current KCL student. You will be asked for proof of student ID when exchanging your E-Ticket. Each KCL student may purchase additional tickets for up to 4 ‘non-KCL’ guests.
What do I wear?
The dress code is ‘Wonderfully Formal'. Interpret that as you will, dress to impress with expression at your discretion and don't forget your mask!
Where and when can I collect my wristband for the event?
There will be a ticket exchange at the Freshers Fair, the date of which will be shown on your ticket confirmation. Other future exchange dates may be added.
What do I need to bring to prove I’m me?
You will need a valid form of photo ID. I.E Driving License or Passport. You may also be ID’d upon entry to the event.
Do I need an E-ticket?
Yes, you will need to bring you FIXR E-Ticket to collect your wristband.
Can I buy a ticket at the ticket exchange?
Yes, we can take cash or card.
I can’t find my E-Ticket. Help!
1) Download the free FIXR app on iOS or Android (https://fixr-app.com/download). If you bought your tickets online, make sure you login to the app using the same account details initially used for purchasing your ticket/s.
2) Select the 'My Profile' section in the app
3) From here you should be able to select your ticket and save it and/or print it out ready for scanning at the entrance.

Can my friend collect my ticket? / Can I collect my friends ticket?
Yes you can. You will need a copy of your friends ID and their E-ticket (via smart phone or print-out). If you cannot make the exchange at the Freshers Fair, please arrange for a friend to collect your ticket.
